Code of Conduct
Welcome to Swing Bandits! We’re all about dancing, having fun, and building a welcoming community. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or whether you just took your first step onto the dance floor, we want to make you feel at home. Here’s how we make that happen:
Be Cool, Be Kind
Treat everyone with respect, on and off the dance floor.
Consent is Key
No means no. No pressure, no hard feelings. Respect personal space and comfort levels.
Hygiene is Happiness
Fresh breath, clean clothes, and deodorant are your dance partners too. If you’re extra sweaty take a break, grab a towel, or change shirts.
Inclusivity for the Win
Everyone is welcome no matter their gender, race, sexual orientation, relationship status, ability, age, body, faith, or profession. Lead, follow, or switch it up. Any person can dance any role.
Floor Craft = Dance Magic
Be aware of your surroundings. Accidents happen but let’s do our best to avoid them. Big moves need big space, so adjust accordingly.
Encourage, Don’t Critique
We’re all learning, so celebrate progress instead of criticizing. Don’t give feedback or teach on the social dance floor.
Look Out For Each Other
If you experience or witness inappropriate behaviour let us know. We are all responsible for keeping our community safe and healthy.
Have a Blast
Dance, laugh, cheer, and enjoy the music. Build the kind of community that you love to be a part of.
Consequences
Violating this code of conduct, or any other inappropriate behaviour, may result in a friendly chat, a timeout, or being asked to leave, depending on the situation. Let’s keep Swing Bandits a place where everyone feels welcome, safe, and excited to dance.
